Cord strapping, banding is another option to secure your loads.  Cord banding is a safer alternative to steel strapping.  It has high break strengths and can absorb shock better than steel strapping.  One of the biggest advantatages is that there is not a lot of money needed to get started with this product. Below, are some of the characteristics of cord strap.

* Softer Material   Cord strapping is a much softer product than steel banding.  It may be possible to eliminate the need for corner protects of other protective devices that shield steel strap from you load   less damage = more profit

* Less Tooling  With the Lumbercord Strap, the only tool required is a tensioner or rod.  No need for expensive crimpers or more complicated tensioning devices  less tooling = less initial investment
